Ted Kloske is a seasoned photographer with over 40 years of experience in the photography industry. Trained in Radio, Television & Photo Journalism, he is the founder of the Windsor School of Photography, where he imparts his vast knowledge of photography techniques, equipment, and digital imaging to aspiring photographers. Ted’s diverse career spans commercial, portrait, fashion, event, product, and marketing photography, as well as an esteemed international career as a destination wedding photographer. His work has taken him across Canada, and to many countries including Costa Rica, the Caribbean, and Jamaica.
Throughout his career, Ted has been dedicated to teaching and sharing his expertise. He spent 20 years as an instructor at St. Clair Community College, and has also worked with Henry's School of Imaging. As a camera store manager for 40 years, he has developed an in-depth understanding of most major camera brands, which he continues to share with students and colleagues.
Ted has led international photography workshops in Europe and France, helping photographers from around the world refine their skills. His work has been featured in numerous magazines, showcasing his prowess as both a photographer and a marketer. A pioneer in digital photography, Ted remains passionate about new advancements in the field, while maintaining a deep appreciation for the fundamentals of the craft.
A lifelong learner and public speaker, Ted regularly presents at various camera and social clubs, sharing his knowledge on photography and the business of photography. He also enjoys speaking at events, teaching workshops, and mentoring emerging photographers.
Outside of his professional work, Ted is a devoted family man, married to his beautiful wife and father to two sons. His hobbies include camping, wilderness exploration, landscape photography, canoe tripping, hiking, and macro photography. Ted’s love for nature and the outdoors informs much of his personal and professional work, and he remains deeply connected to the Canadian landscape.
