Week 1 of this workshop covers the foundational principles of film photography, from camera operation to exposure theory. Students will gain an understanding of film types, metering, and basic techniques for creating well-exposed images.

The second week focuses on applying the concepts learned in Week 1 during a real-world photoshoot. Students will work with various subjects, incorporating metering, composition, and exposure theory into their photography. We will discuss the process of developing film.

Private Training

The Windsor School of Photography regularly holds group training workshops, but 1 on 1 private training is also available. You may have a desire to learn something not currently covered in a group workshop. You may have a special need at your workplace, or require a hand setting up your lighting system, possibly an interest in learning the basics of studio lighting. You may be confused by Photoshop or Lightroom and need a hand getting set up. You may wish to learn how to work their new camera, or are interested in sharpening your exposure skills - shutter speed, aperture, ISO, or just want to meet somewhere and go on a photo walk.
